Yesterday, the two-day 3rd Global Forum - The World Cultural Diversity concluded with flying colors after making plentiful and substantial achievements. Many important common understandings have been reached at the meeting and the "Hangzhou Declaration" for "Respecting Cultural Diversity and Commonly Building a Harmonious World" is publicized. Approved by the UNESCO's Cultural Diversity Union, the Globalization Cooperation Foundation and Hangzhou Municipality signed the Agreement on World Cultural Diversity Permanent Meeting Address.

Wang Cheng, President of the People's Daily Publishing House made a wrap-up report. Milagros Del Corral, UNESCO Deputy Assistant General Secretary for Culture and Chief of Cultural Industry Division delivered her speech. Li Cong, Secretary General of the Forum International Organizing Committee read out the "Hangzhou Declaration". Sun Fang, Chairman of the Globalization Cooperation Foundation chaired the closing ceremony.
