He specially elected over 1,000 excellent and elegant works specially to donate Hangzhou citizens. To thank his righteous act in developing national culture and construct the socialist spiritual civilization, Hangzhou Municipal Committee and Hangzhou Government decided to construct Han Meilin Gallery in Hangzhou Botanical Garden to exhibit, collect, study and research the works of Mr. Han Meilin, also to enrich and extend West Lake culture and increase the humane landscape.
