At about 7pm yesterday, beside the lakeside park, the boatmen of the manual-boats lit up some coal oil lamps and tied them on the fore. A boatman said there are many tourists want to visit the West Lake in boats by the time of night, for the weather is quite nice these days. The coal oil lamps are for the communication between the boatmen, thus preventing any collision. Many tourists said the coal oil lamps on the boats are novel to them, and it will be a new experience to tour the west lake in the boats with this kind of lamp.
